Pets Like To Talk To
5th November 2008

I love animals, they are people in fur coats, but as an animal communicator I have recognized more and more how they need a voice. I have tried to give them that, both with new pet owners and battered victims of their owners abuse. I'm writing this not just for me, but for them. I remember one time I read a horse, who commented that he didn't know who owned him, it turned out he had been passed around from person to person for years. He talked about being hit and the agency that saved him did comment on scars that were one his ribs and behind that were obviously created through abuse. He was hesitant of approaching anyone, scared of a human hand, but after speaking with him for about twenty or thirty minutes and helping him recognize he was in a safe place, it was amazing the changes he made. He became less distant and more involved with his handlers, he began really eating and having fun with the other horses and just came out of his shell. I have helped wonderful people overcome their grief and guilt about putting down animals, getting them in touch with the spirits of their loved ones. There was at one point when I met a man who had come to me in search of answers regarding his beloved dog. The animal immediately came through with a bountiful amount of energy, the first thing she talked about was the "presents" she left him for leaving her alone, and he started laughing!!! The dog used to leave her presents for him when she was ignored or left alone by him for more than ten minutes! She also talked about how she had a special place in the living room that she absolutely loved, (this is where they put her ashes, collar and photo) and how she still jumps up on the couch to hang out with him and that there were a couple of shows he watched every day and she was right there with him. But above all, she wanted to let him know not to feel any guilt around it. She was miserable and they had talked about it before hand. It was wonderful for him to get the redemption he felt he needed from his furry family member. Dogs, cats, rats, horses every animal talks and has the same emotions as we do, there was one time I had read an cat that showed aggressive behavior toward her other brother and sister cats. When I spoke with her, she said she was the youngest and she didn't feel she got enough respect from her older siblings. She also said she was starved for attention from the owners and that the food she was given didn't agree with her. (The owners confirmed that she had an issue with digesting the food, that they meant to change it and just didn't find the time, also that she was the youngest and the oldest used to shove his butt in her face all the time as an act of alpha-ness), I then proceeded to talk with the other cats and they expressed needs of individual attention from the owners (they were always at work and agreed they didn't have time to always spend with the cats) the eldest just wanted to be left alone but unfortunately the youngest had taken a likeness to the eldest, so she was constantly up his butt about playing or sleeping....

History of the Tarot
5th November 2008

I use the tarot every day and I have always been a huge history fanatic and I believe that the history of tarot is one of the funnest things to research, so I thought maybe you might be interested in looking back at the tarot's origins! Playing cards, tarot cards, some people get the two confused however they are very very different things although they can be used for the same purpose. Playing cards originally became used in Christian England prior to 1367, however they were soon banned in Bern, Switzerland. Early European decks were described as having fifty two cards with no jokers. Playing cards were extremely popular as a past time in court and noble families, many different games resulted after the introduction of playing cards and therefore it should come as no surprise that using the playing cards as a base deck someone would build a specialty deck for a specific game. Tarot also known as tarocchi cards were originally developed in Northern Italy in the first half of the of the fifteenth century somewhere between 1410 and 1430. There are many questions though as to the true origin, some believe that they were originally created in Egypt with the use of scimitars (now swords), Polo Sticks (now wands), Cups and Coins, the reason of the belief of Egyptian origin is probably because it was believed that the first users of the tarot for divination were the gypsies descendants of Egyptians. With more and more people studying the deck however there is more evidence to make one believe that is was in fact created in Northern Italy, possibly in Milan, Ferrara or Bologne. It was created to make a game similar to bridge with 22 special cards that did not belong to any suit and were permanent trump cards that beat all the other cards in the deck! It became extremely popular among the wealthy and eventually spread around the continent. Some time in the first half of the fifteenth century, somewhere in northern Italy, someone created the first set of tarot cards. Like the playing cards of the time, the tarot deck included number cards (1 through 10) known as pips in four suits, and court cards page, knight, and king...

What Is Occultism...Really?
20th October 2008

All around the world you hear occult, and it always has evil connotations, like Satanists and Voodoo Priestesses working dark and horrible magics against innocent people. Well, what I am planning to present to you is a short but thorough description of things we do in our everyday life that is in fact, occult. The meaning of Occult is actually ?hidden knowledge? so going to visit a psychic is a form of occultism as you are going to gather knowledge not known to others. Occult stems from the Latin Occultus which means ?secret? if you know of something whether at a job or at home that is going to happen before it does or it is a secret between a couple of people you are acting Occultly. Now I know you are probably saying well, yeah of course that makes sense but what about the magickal side of it? What about the evil stuff we hear about all of the time? Occult is a blanket term for many different forms of religious experiences, and practices. Occultism is the science of the inner nature of things as opposed to the outer nature practiced by the scientists we know today. Much like we know that a plant has molecules, it soaks up the sun to gather beneficial nutrients, and so forth but what causes the plant to live, what is the energy of a plant, does it feel? It is believed by occult scientists that mathematics, biology and so forth will never be able to answer those important questions because they deal only with external causes and relationships to things around the object they are studying. Alchemy was a standard occult practice, one that many scientists in their time utilized, however, at one point the two practices became divided. One being seen as a more substantial science. The other more of a philosophical one. There are many occult practices within our modern religions however you will never see the word integrated with them, you may see the word ?esoteric? basically meaning the same thing. Such as within Christianity there are some esoteric forms which allow the practitioner to conduct different forms of divination, but in the Bible it warns against divination, it is an occult practice....

Psychic Mediums...Paranormal Investigators?
26th August 2008

Many people believe that psychic mediums cannot be paranormal investigators simply for the fact that the evidence would be to subjective basedon the mediums inherent belief that spirits exist. Well they do..darnit!

I work in a group called Ghost Quest both as a medium and investigator, now here is the funny thing, when I go into a place I do not believe it is haunted. Does it have spirits....sure. But that does not mean it is validly haunted, as a medium I understand there are more dead people than live ones and that every place you go you will pick up on spirits either connected to the family or to the property. Hauntings are not as such, a haunting is when the spirit is bothering or tormenting the family or inhabitants of the home. There is a big difference, there are many spirits that just go about their routines, some that are there because the family is in crisis and they want the living to know that they are around to help if they need it, and some that just want to be left alone and rarely if ever make themselves known. This is called visitation, not haunting. Because in truth no one is being bothered or in any danger. When I do a walkthrough I go in without prior knowledge, either of the family, their history or the properties background. Point of the matter is that I am a medium, I walk through the home and pick up on the spirits within it, validating what the family discussed with one of the crew members earlier, either what they feel when in a certain place, what they've seen or heard. I speak with the spirit, get details about their life and appearances, family members, how they died and so forth so that later it can be confirmed through histories and the census' of the time. Spirits are like people in that they have attitudes and personality, they are not like static electricity that just is. They have belief systems, and history behind them that they retain even after crossing over....

Live and Let Live Farm ~ Psychic Readings ~ Animals
8th July 2008

Hey all! Last weekend I was invited up to the Live and Let Live Farm in Chichester,NH www.liveandletlivefarm.org to speak to some of the animals. The farm was abuzz with activity, the facility houses hundreds of horses and other animals such as goats, miniature ponies, cats, even a pig and a donkey named Ned!

The care and love these dedicated professionals put into these abused and neglected animals is clear, the furry friends I spoke with discussed their love of the farm and the people who take care of them as well as the thanks and gratitude for being helped and rescued. The miniature pony in particular will stay in my mind for a long while. The owners starved her and couple of other rescues they had and when I spoke with her, she would not admit abuse. This had been going on for so long that she thought that was the way life was supposed to be. When the farm got to her she was so weak she couldn't stand, now thanks to the love and support of these wonderful people she considers the farm hers, and runs her pen like a queen! Ned the donkey is a lovely and sensitive animal always looking out for those who work on the farm, oftentimes they let him loose on the farm and he often enjoys going to the house and speaking with those there....
